FLEXIBLE PACKAGING

	Flexible packaging UV inks are required to be laminated, stamped, imprinted and adhere to a variety of films as well as to cure to become part of an extremely flexible finished product. In addition to these demands, flexible packaging often involves several different types of ink systems that must be compatible with each other. UVitec understands this and designs our different ink systems to perfectly complement each other. How does this benefit the printer? Our coatings have the same flexibility as our ink systems ensuring optimum inter-layer compatibility. UVitec's flexo, letterpress and offset base and matched inks have the transparency to print with fidelity over screen opaque white and to produce trapped colors as the designer intended. As a contrast, our opaque colors have the necessary amount of opacity to print on clear substrates and still replicate the intended color.
	Flexo systems specific for high and low line anilox. Letterpress inks that can be imprinted and have reasonably well scuff and rub resistance. Offset inks that use the same pigments at the same percentage as the other ink systems so jobs can be switched from flexo to letterpress to offset and still look the same.
