“COATINGS”
7460 High Gloss Coating
This coating has a complete balance of properties and is used for a variety of applications. It cures to a smooth, glass-like film which is hard yet flexible enough to withstand the impact of die cutting without cracking along the edges. 7460 is extremely clear, very high gloss, good flexibility, fast cure speed and excellent scratch resistance.
7435 High Slip Coating
This coating offers the narrow web printer a new dimension in pressroom versatility. Designed and used as a flexo coating, 7435 has also proved to be an excellent rotary screen coating. This product is resistant to a variety of chemicals, cures at extremely fast press speeds and offers excellent clarity. The strongest attribute of this product is its high surface slip. When most coating products fail tape tests, 7435 will generally pass.
7465 Matte Coating
This coating offers a matte finish while still offering good scratch, rub and adhesion properties. This product resists settling, which is common amongst UV matte finishes and is fairly low in viscosity.
1983-87 Cationic Gloss Coating
This coating offers an alternative to free radical systems particularly in cases where adhesion is a major requirement. The cationic curing mechanism ensures through cure by continuing the reaction after the coating exits the UV cure unit. Excellent scratch resistance, very low shrinkage and a very fast cure rate make this coating the one to pick when encountering difficult situations where most UV coatings fail.
20705-87 High Matte Coating
This coating offers a very low gloss finish and comparably good scratch and product resistance. This product is stampable and imprintable and adheres very well to a variety of different substrates.
21302-87 Cold Foil Laminating Adhesive
This laminating adhesive allows curing through the laminating film and secures an excellent bond between the two substrates, allowing sharply defined images, even small type. Specifically designed to cure at high speed and offering the best bond available. We also offer a version of this product available with optical brightner added when laminating clear or transparent film.
